Join award winning writer and coastal explorer Karen Lloyd for a walk & talk between the tides charting the elements of Morecambe bay through history, stories, analogue and digital data.

Meet at 2.00pm at the main car-park in Overton village. After the walk (5.00pm ca.) we will head to the Storey, Lancaster, for soup & sandwiches and a spot of ‘mapping’ with the data collected during the walk. More information about this on the day. At 6.30pm, Karen will give a talk in conversation with Chris Donaldson, Lecturer in Regional History at Lancaster University, expert in the history of cross-bay travel & transport technology and working on geospatial innovation research.
